Brown sugar and vanilla are a winning combination. A sugar scrub improves the skin appearance and texture by exfoliating it and moisturizing it. Sugar produces several compounds such as glycolic acid, which is an alpha hydroxy acid that works hard to loosen dirt and dead skin cells and easily removes them from the skin.
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
3 tbsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup almond oil
Mix all ingredients together. Find a pretty jar to put the scrub in. Indulge your body with this scrub in the shower. Rub a small amount of sugar scrub gently on your body and wash off with cold water. Viola! Enjoy soft, clean and glowing skin all day long.
Went a little overboard with the self-tanner? No problem! Streaks can be banished before your weekend plans with this all-natural body scrub.
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup olive oil
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tbsp honey
Mix all ingredients together and you are good to go! Store in a jar. Do not use this on your face, and no not be afraid so scrub hard!
A delicious and effective natural exfoliate gentle enough to use on lips. Just use about ¼ teaspoon of this delicious scrub and apply to dry lips, using a gentle circular motion, massage into lips and around mouth. Do not use much pressure; just gentle circles to exfoliate this delicate area.
2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
2 tablespoons coconut sugar
1 tablespoon honey
Simply combine in a small mixing bowl all the ingredients until mixed. The scrub will be thick and grainy- just what you’re after. Store in the fridge for up to 2-3 weeks.
Coconut oil is subtly fragrant and slightly delicious. This one is a super moisturizing scrub perfect after a day in the garden, excellent scrub for hardworking hands, use this twice weekly.
