Dear Ange,
As you know the Emergency Care Foundation recently held their latest fund raising initiative in the stables at Addington Raceway. The evening was a huge success and the Foundation wanted to express their thanks once again to you for providing an Ultimate Style Makeover. Information about the prices was sent to over 200 people that attended the event. It was greatly appreciated and very popular.
Without the support of local businesses the Foundation would be unable to continue to improve emergency care through education, innovation and research.
Kind regards,
Angela Collins

Dear Angela
Although I have spoken to you personally and congratulated yourself and team on a great night last night, I did want to formalize my thanks to you in an email.
This was my first time participating in such a prestigious event. Potentially daunting, as I felt I was the "middle person between the designer, the compare (yourself) the models(actually artists) and the audience.
I received such great help from the models who were amazing, wanting to make sure they honored each designer by wearing the clothes the "right way." Under such pressurized and confined conditions, they achieved an awesome result.
Thank you again, and I include Kate in this, for having the confidence in me to play , albeit a small part in the scheme of things. That I have kept with me the nice afterglow of an assignment well done, speaks volumes for how I was supported..
Kind regards

Dear Angela
We would like to thank you so much for helping to make our 4th Christchurch Supper Club 2009 such a fabulous event last week.
We are delighted to announce that over $42,000 was raised for the House!! - this is an incredible amount, and we could not have achieved this without the support of the community. Please be reminded that 100% of these funds come directly to operating the House.
Your generous donation of time for the beauty package sold for $1,000 - fantastic!! This equates to over approximately 7 nights of accommodation for a family staying in our House.
Warm regards

CANCER SOCIETY BALL 2009 - EMERALD DREAM
It is difficult to escape a connection with cancer. Almost all of us have known a friend, family member, or co-worker whose life has been affected by it. It steals our youngest and brightest, our fittest and our elderly, and it makes no allowance for wealth, status or fame.
Your sontinued support of the Cancer Society's Emerald Dream Ball means the Cancer Society is able to continue to deliver our programmes and services in the community. Those programmes are provided free to those people living with cancer and from them and their families I say thank you.
I am sure that you will agree that the 20th anniversary of the Cancer Society Ball was celebrated in style, and we have received some wonderful feedback from guests who attended. The auction was also a highlight for us raising a significant amount on the evening. Please also pass on our grateful thanks to Mods Hair Salon and Nicola Quinn Beauty. The lucky bidder for your wonderful item was Justine Lill and I am sure she will be in touch with you soon to organise her special day.
Once again thank you for your continued support and commitment for our work.
With your help there is hope.
Kind regards,
Jane Sheriff

To Anyone Wanting Style Help.
I thought I was pretty clued up on what looked right on me and what colours to wear. But after years of trying different things and going through personal growth it is immensely hard to separate yourself from yourself so to speak. I really needed that. I had a huge wardrobe of interesting things but would always declare with despair that I had nothing to wear. After a huge cull out and only a hand full of basic purchases, that is now no longer the case.
Angela Stone was fun and diplomatic to work with. She efficiently went through my entire wardrobe. It was liberating to have her throw my things to the bin with conviction but at the same time relish in the good things she found there. The money I have invested in having Angela over is well worth it in the savings I will make in the future through buying the right things and avoiding the things I used to throw money away on. Since my wardrobe 'Make-over' I have had many compliments from both my husband and my friends on my outfits. I have rediscovered elements of myself in the garments I had relegated to the back and I feel so much better for it. The colour consultation was great too, so quick and obvious. I don't know why had let trends drag me into some of the colours I had in my wardrobe.
I have recouped some of my investment in the session already by selling some of my things on Trade Me and swapping some more for (of all things) a Skill Saw and a bottle of wine!!
I am an average woman, wife and mother and feel that this kind of is often seen as a rich person's privilege. However, it is not! I have used my new knowledge at the second hand store down the road with great results. I will keep a mental tally of what I save and put it towards a couple of the basic items Angela sells.
Being conscious of my pennies, I worried that my session would not provide me with value for money. But let me tell you; Angela works fast and has an air of absolute confidence and enthusiasm for what she is doing which made my time with her both incredibly productive and an absolute pleasure. I totally recommend her services to anyone.
You will love the session and you will use her advice for life.
Yours sincerely
Dale Hartley-Brown. (June 2009)

Dear Angela,
My name is Diane, and I was at the Celebration Centre yesterday, with my sister, Melanie, who very kindly invited me along to come and see you, and am I so glad she did. I thought you were absolutely wonderful. I admired your ability to tell us the most appropriate way of dressing for our body type, without hurting our feelings. And you were kind and non judgmental which I, as a sensitive being, as many of us are, really appreciated. When you were speaking to us you said something about needing others to help with consulting. I would like to know what I need to do to become a consultant. I seem to be good at knowing what suits other people, but I need to be trained to do this. If you could let me know, that would be great.
I look forward to hearing from you soon and thank you.
With kind regards,
Diane (October 2008)
Angela,

Angela Stone was contracted by Millennium Hotel Christchurch to carry out a Grooming Workshop for all our front line staff earlier in the year.
The objective was to educate and inspire the team to a '5 Star' standard, so very important in our business, with the content covering various aspects of their appearance, such as how to wear their uniform, hair and beauty, decorum and demeanour.
Angela is not only extremely knowledgeable in this field, she is able to communicate the message effectively and with confidence, inspiring the team to excellence. We considered the workshop a success and have every intention of repeating this training regularly.
If you would like any further information please do not hesitate to contact me directly.

Hi Angela
Just wanted to thank you again for last Wednesday. Even though I was WAY out of my comfort zone I had a great time. Andrew loved all the clothes and even told me to go and buy the expensive boots! I had my black dress on yesterday and loved it. I have been out shopping since and felt much more confident - I have now got the bug! My friends and family have all admired my new clothes, which feels great - my sister-in-law is especially inspired - you may even get a call from her.
Take care and thanks again

Hi Angela
Just a quick email to thank you very much for the shopping experience this morning. I came home and looked at my purchases and have been playing dress ups ever since. I am thrilled to say that with the 2 pairs of jeans and the 3 singlets most of the items in my wardrobe will now be able to be worn. I think after I find some shoes and a necklace to match my gorgeous new dress I will be pretty much maxed out for a while but will look forward to having a try on in Ballantynes with you in a few months - I really appreciate your offer of adding a few extra minutes next time.
Trust you had an enjoyable day shopping with your other clients amongst the craziness!

To the STUNNING and LOVELY Angela
Just an email to thank you for contributing to a huge success on Saturday, it was wonderful to have you there. A highlight for me was your presentation!
Hope to catch up with you somtime in the future.
Kind regards
Ruth (February 2007)
Hi Angela,
Thanks so much for your time. I had an absolute blast and learnt so
much from you in such a short space of time. It is definitely money well spent
and while many people would probably say they would never do it, they don't
know what they are missing. The feelings of knowing you look good and can
put an outfit together and have it work from head to toe is amazing.
I will definitely be doing this again come summer but probably to a lesser extent
due to having pieces that will transition the seasons.
I worked it all out and the money side of it probably is equal to the amount
I would have spent over six months on wasted outfits and things that end up
being thrown out because they don't look right.
I have sent your payment through tonight and look forward to enjoying my
look and catching up later in the year to attack summer!!!!
Cheers
Sharlane (February 2007)
Hi Angela
Many thanks for your presentation last night, it was well received by everyone that attended and was the hop topic of conversation when everyone arrived at work this morning. We have already 10 of us that are booking into "FACE" for some makeup advice and others other shopping for singlet tops etc.
I was going to collate a list of e-mail addresses for you, but thought the easiest way would be for you to send the e-mail to me and I can just forward on. I know there are a lot of keen people.
Once again, many thanks and no doubt we will be in contact
Kind regards
PS: Hope your trip to Aussie goes well

"Good morning Angela
I wanted to extend my sincerest gratitude for last night. I know Tia, Andrea and myself have received so much information and help from you that it is going to have a very positive and life changing effect on all of us.
I have come in to work today, as suggested by you, with some high pointy black shoes, my black and white skirt, tailored black jacket (without the kitten pulls (shame on me - I'm so embarrassed about that) ), and my hair pulled round in a side ponytail - I feel FABULOUS!!
Thank you for your suggestions, honesty, and constructive criticism and tips to make me feel taller and slimmer. I have struggled for the past couple of years with weight gain after a huge personal loss and want to get back to feeling confident and "alive". This I am sure will start to change now that I have had some positive guidance from yourself.
I do hope that we will meet again and perhaps even go shopping!
You are a true inspiration."
With kind regards

"Hi Angela
A huge thankyou for your work last night in speaking at our 'Dress to Impress' Function for the Canterbury Westland Branch of the New Zealand Institute of Legal Executives.
Using Jacqui as a model was fantastic and the difference in the 'before' photos and what she looked like after having her makeup and hair done and the clothes you selected for her to wear was just 'Sensational'.
The people who attended the evening were extremely impressed and everyone made a point of saying how much they enjoyed the evening and were so pleased they had come.
We are sure Judy, the lucky winner of the 'free one hour consultation with you' will enjoy her prize immensely.
Once again, we cannot say a big enough thankyou for such a great evening.
We will have no hesitation in suggesting to friends and work colleagues that they contact you for a consultation or to arrange an evening similar."

"To whom it may concern"
I employed Angela Stone recently to give advice to my staff on grooming and presentation tips.
She told each of them in turn how important their appearance was in retail sales and how they could improve themselves. She did this skillfully without causing offense and in an encouraging way. The staff started off shy and reticent but quickly asked Angela questions about certain aspects of their appearance that concerned them. I commend Angela on her direct but delicate approach and true professionalism.
Angela worked to the brief I gave her, within a sensible budget and was flexible with her approach to the presentation. Her words of wisdom showed what an expert she is in dress standards and wardrobing and she certainly has lifted the standard of dress for my staff and given them plenty to think about before they leave home for work every day. She has an eye for detail which obviously draws from her wide experience in the modeling field and is accurate with the areas they work to improve on.
I couldn't recommend her highly enough for anyone who employs front line people and whose image is an important part of their life, business or both."
Yours sincerely,
