How do you determine what suits your body shape and what suits you? The key is to know your body proportions. Once we know this we use clothing and accessories to accentuate your best features.
Feeling good and looking good is so important . When it comes to knowing how to dress your body you will save yourself time and lots of money. Shopping will become so much easier and you will look fantastic everyday.
Most body shapes fall into one of the five basic profiles.
Pear Shape - known as the triangle or A
Rectangle - known as the H shape
Apple - known as the O shape
Hourglass - known as the X shape
Inverted Triangle - Known as the upside down triangle


To determine your body shape you will need a full-length mirror, your best set of supportive underwear and natural day light .
You need to focus your attention on the differences or similarities in the size of your shoulders, bust, waist and hips and take an objective look at your body proportions. You need to ask your self:
Do I have wide hips and a small upper body?
Are my shoulders broad in comparison to my hips?
Do I have little or no waist definition?
Determine whether or not your body proportions are narrow, average or wide.
If you find this difficult, ask a friend to provide an objective assessment.
