Hi everyone,

I hope you and your families are safe and well following the earthquake and the subsequent weeks. It has been a very trying few weeks for anyone living in Christchurch - particularly those who have lost loved ones, homes and businesses.

Due to many retailers participating in the Canterbury Runway Winter 2011 Fashion Collections being located in Christchurch's CBD I have made the decision to postpone the event. No new date is scheduled yet as it is too soon to know when the CBD will be open and operational again. In the mean time keep an eye on the website for updates and I will keep you posted. For those who have already purchased tickets, these will be accepted at the show whenever it is held.

We are also excited to announce a new designer- Emma Manhart, and Coos Go Moo will be joining us when the Canterbury Runway Winter 2011 Fashion Collections take place.

New Zealand Fashion Festival 21-27 March 2011

New Zealand Fashion Festival is entering its second year and is an essential event in a fashionistas calendar. While New Zealand Fashion Week caters to those in the fashion industry, New Zealand Fashion Festival is purely a consumer fashion event. NZFF brings together fashion lovers in Auckland for a week of high-end fashion shows and presentations and StyleYou is going to be there!

StyleYou Information Session

Calling all fashionistas who want to become a fashion stylist. Angela Stone's Styling school - StyleYou - has training courses for those who want a career in fashion styling. Find out about the course in this FREE 1/2 hr presentation on "How to become a fashion stylist"

Hi everyone,

2010 has been a very big year for us all. So much has happened! On the work front we had a fabulous night of fashion at the Canterbury Runway Spring 2010 Fashion Collections, New Zealand Cup and Show Week saw fashionistas take to the catwalk and also saw the opening of StyleYou in both Auckland and Christchurch.

Next year promises to be just as busy with work already being done in preparation for the Canterbury Runway Winter 2011 Fashion Collections taking place on Thursday 17th March 2011, so mark the date in your diaries!

I would like to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and may you have a wonderful New Year.

The month of love is here already. We have some exciting events coming up for you - first up is the Canterbury Runway Winter 2011 Fashion Collections which takes place on the 17th of March so to all of you who want to see what is hot from our leading designers and retailers here in Christchurch this is one show you won't want to miss. Tickets on SALE now!! All of the events we have coming up are shown below - we hope to see you all there!

12 February 2011 - Women's Refuge Clothing Giveaway

Angela will be with the Women's Refuge in the Shades Arcade helping distribute garments to the women of Christchurch. Thanks to UnderCoverWear who have kindly donated boxes of stock for those affected by the September 4 earthquake.

10th March 2011 - Heels and Wheels Charity Dinner

Dancers from Dynasty Dancers and a fashion show coordinated by Angela. On show is Sergio's Menswear and Gilly Melhop designs. Black tie event featuring fashion and exotic cars. Charity auction with fabulous lifestyle items raising funds for the Van der Veer Institute for Parkinson's and Brain Research

17th March 2011 - Canterbury Runway Winter 2011 Fashion Collections

Taking place in the Christchurch Art Gallery this event will feature Christchurch's best designers and retailers on the catwalk - Trelise Cooper, Annah Stretton, Head Over Heels, Barkers, Jane Daniels, Andrea Moore, Gillian Melhop, Max, Sergio's Menswear, Emma Manhart and Kooky.

Thursday 17th March - 7:00pm at Christchurch Art Gallery

Tickets: Gold $45 or VIP $65 (plus postage) available from here or at Christchurch Art Gallery and Trelise Cooper on High Street
