Dress in Your Finest

New Zealand Cup and Show Week gives you the perfect excuse to get out and go shopping!

There will be a fantastic array of gorgeous racewear on display on course – from colourful summer dresses and stylish headwear on the girls to smart suits and clever shirt and tie combinations for the guys.

What should I wear to each of the days?

Fashion and racing are inextricably entwined and there is no more fashionable event than the New Zealand Cup and Show Week. Racing attracts the rich and famous, all dressed to the “nines” for a day of elegance, opulence, style and glamour.

Race day attire is all about style, sophistication, glamour and elegance and this is reflected in the fashion. When dressing for the track, think couture not cocktail – this is the day to dress in your finery!

When considering your outfit, think fun and frivolous but remember the golden rule – race wear must always be ladylike!
